My commitments to myself and the world.

I love hoop and I can improve my skills.

Living under a take home pay of 10k a year (1996–2022)

I desire things that are gonna last.

Where connections are stronger than desire.

I see my savings dwindling if I ain’t make more than $17.82 an hour

Due to monthly health insurance premiums

See the problem with part times is that you’re not full-time (40 hrs a week)

In a city that’s expensive to live in, and commute to. (SF)

And the gas prices high (+$5)

I wouldn’t consider any transaction that disrupts my peace. // fucks up my peace.

Money isn’t free, it’s how u get free.

Is this worth it? Am I gonna make it harder for me and my family?

Career crisis

Getting money is better than not getting money.

Extreme income problem- hardly make any

Something to get ur income up. Better pay. A salary.

NBA teams will pay arena workers minimum wage to deal with fans.

I think it’s unfair and all NBA teams should be paying their arena workers a minimum wage of $25 per hour. (August 2022)

I remember my first-full time job as a Whole Foods dishwasher, I was speaking in the office to Tiffany, our hr manager for accommodations due to my Diplegic Cerebral Palsy; work 2 consecutive days and have a day off the day after.

I also negotiated to reduce my hours from 40 to 32 hours a week.

At first, Tiffany was like; “Keanu, you work full-time.”

Then, she thought about it again, and she came up with the genius idea to work 2 consecutive days and have a day off the day after. I could still be considered full-time, and get the rest I need for my body.

That’s what I call a good hr person. Shoutout Tiffany, man.

I’ve come from that Whole Foods grind.

night crew/ skeleton crew // we still had to get the work done.

Team members comin’ around and saying, you’re the best.

You could be a good person, good convo, and not be fit for the position.

You could be a good person, bad interview, and not be be fit for the position.

You could be a good person, good interview, good references, and be offered.

I feel good after this interview. I was more present, nothing preplanned, not reading off a screen.

Maybe I wanted to be a receptionist for the Warriors so bad, I fumbled the interview by reading off my screen a list of examples on how likable I am by other people in the organization. Going down a list of people who gave me love/kudos. didn’t translate into a second interview. 07.10.22
