The next 20 years have to be better.

What does the world look like?

Inspiration. Inspiring the next person. Future generations.

It’s been 3 months since I started working.

I haven’t had time for any open mics.

A counselor talks to me about screen time and negotiation.

Our writing facilitator, talks to us about accountability, keeping track of our goals with tallies, and asking us what’s community?

“Code-switching,” I said.

When I say code-switching, I mean how we adjust the way we act or speak, in order to get the job or to make white people feel comfortable, in any social setting.

A person shares she’s feeling lost and doesn’t know where to go.

Time to get back into it…

I need to perfect these poems for a college classroom.

Writing workshop.

I went back to my elementary school to facilitate a writing workshop.

Some students have fears of high school.

They love their class and don’t wanna go their separate ways.

Told em, “Create your own story.”

My target is to inspire the next person and the next generation.

My intentions are to be happy.

The next 20 years have to be better.

Steph told me to be the hardest working person in the room, and work harder than the next person.
