Meditation is a medical intervention.

Increased happiness, clarity, satisfaction. Resilience. Clear thinking.

Expand window of tolerance- eating properly, exercise, get enough sleep.

Profound rest, healing, reduced stress.

Here to here — effortlessly.

Heal yourself- prevent sickness and suffering

What disrupts a calm mind- thoughts, so minimize thoughts.

Focused attention — clear your mind of thoughts.

Open monitoring — be in the present moment.

Cognitive approaches to meditation — adapting thoughts, emotions, behavior.

Meditate — 3–4 times a day, lowers cortisol levels and raises serotonin levels

Go in with innocence and you may be transported to wonder and awe.

Mind drawn to something more satisfying.

Give the attention, inward direction- automatically attention drawn inward

we all need true love, we all need true love.

I knew I was physically challenged before anything.

I knew I was American abroad.

I knew I was Asian in America.

“I got to do this mind.”
